Am 16.12.2017 fand die „Adventsfahrt ins vorweihnachtliche Selketal“ statt (siehe Meldung vom 16.12.2017).

Die Lokomotive für den Sonder­zug (Lok 99 7240) wird im Bf Gern­rode geschmückt.
